Afsaneh Nagy is a German-Persian contemporary artist who lives in Hamburg. After starting her career as an international model, she soon branched out into fashion design, but her true love has always been the art of photography and after years of posing in front of the camera, she took her position behind it; inspired to bring the invisible to the fore. Her modern approach to classic photography combines its details of form, color and three-dimensional movement with our fast-paced urban lifestyle from which she draws inspiration, and through a juxtaposition of photographic techniques and various other art media; She composes works full of life and emotional depth that entice the viewer to discover a new world full of vibrancy, passion and grace. With a philosophy of capturing specific moments and depicting the emotional depth of individual events, she also enjoys using this skill in collaboration with SOS Children's Villages, where she strives to raise awareness by giving children a voice through her work while she spends time spends with them. Afsaneh has been featured in various German publications and her work is currently in private collections across Europe.
